Dec 7/09: registration for NAOC2010 is now open.  This will be the largest orienteering event in North American in many years and it will be held right here in the Kootenay’s near Cranbrok and Kimberley.

Oct 20/09: The latest on-line version of the Orienteering Canada newsletter is now available.

Nov 20/08:  The Kootenay Orienteering Club has been selected to host the 2010 North American Orienteering Championships and World Ranking events.  The 4 days of orienteering is expected to draw orienteers from around the globe who will participate in a range of age categories from 12 and under to 75+.  New maps will be drawn in the Cranbrook area for the event.  Full details will soon be available at NAOC2010.
